About Rebecca's Creative Life
Hello!
I'm a wife, mom and grandma to some pretty amazing people. I love crafting of all kinds and I think every aspect of our lives calls for creativity of one kind or another.
I learned the art of paper crafting from some amazing Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and for years I soaked up every bit of inspiration I could from them. When the opportunity presented itself 8 years ago, I decided to venture out and become a Demonstrator myself.
I've also been a Guest Designer for Making Memories and We R Memory Keepers. I served on the We R Memory Keepers Design Team for a year and a half before I decided to dedicate myself entirely to my Stampin' Up! passion.
I have been published in several card and scrapbooking magazines (bucket list items realized!) over the years and in 2012 I was named one of Paper Crafts Magazine Stamping Royalty winners.
One of my favorite things about being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is making new friends and teaching others that they, too, are creative and can make beautiful projects to share with others. The discount on Stampin' Up! product doesn't hurt either. ;)
When I'm not in my craft room, I love to garden, watch HGTV and British period dramas with my husband, play games with my family, and read.
My other part-time day job is the Outreach Coordinator at a local elementary school where I help parents feel welcomed at our school and find community resources to enrich their families. I've been known to teach a card class or two to our fun and dedicated faculty. :)
I hope you enjoy my blog and can find some inspiration while you're here!
