Spring Colors and Butterflies

Hello!

I'm back this week with not one but 5 cards!

The disclaimer is that they're all the exact same layout, just different color combos. Stampin' Up! OnStage is coming up pretty quickly. OnStage is where Demonstrators from all over the country/world gather together to learn business tips, see new products and catalogs and make fun projects. It's an overwhelmingly amazing time!

While at OnStage we have the choice of whether we want to swap cards with other Demonstrators or not. Last time I went, I didn't swap and I regretted it. This time I'm going to. I made a small stack of cards to swap and I'm excited to see what I bring home!

I've been craving Spring so much, I decided to make a card using our new Butterfly Gala bundle (#150599) and our Gingham Gala 6x6 DSP (#148554).

Here's my card:

This is a really simple card to put together. You start by adhering a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of the Gingham Gala DSP on the front of a Thick Whisper White (#140272) card using Snail Adhesive (#104332). Here I used the yellow. Then trim another piece of Thick Whisper White to 2" x 5" and punch the bottom with the Triple Banner Punch (#138292). Next you take your Butterfly punch and slide the banner end in all the way to the punch. After you've punched out your two butterflies, you take that piece over to your Big Shot and emboss it using the Subtle Embossing Folder. Next you adhere it to your card front using Dimensionals (#104430). White heat emboss your sentiment on a piece of card stock. Here I used Flirty Flamingo card stock (#141416). Once your sentiment is cool, punch using the Classic Label punch (#141491). Add a Mini Dimensional to the center back of the sentiment label and a little snail to each end and adhere over the largest butterfly opening. Then all that's left to do is attach sequins. Here I added the Lemon Lime Twist ones from the Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins (#148561).

I loved this card so much I decided I needed to make it in different color combos. All these colors come in the DSP pack!

Doesn't this one remind you of Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz??

And here they are all together!

Which one is your favorite? I have two. The Daffodil Gingham with the Flirty Flamingo label and the Grapefruit Gingham with the Night of Navy label. :)
