Saying Goodbye to Hand Delivered Stamp Set

Hello!

Up today is another one of my favorites from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. Hand Delivered (#146808) is a Hostess set that is a dream to color. This is retiring soon so hurry and get yours by placing a $150 order in my store!

This is a really versatile stamp set. There's balloons, a sign, a stack of books and this gorgeous cake. Not to mention a bunch of fun sentiments in this fabulous font. I used a combination of Stampin' Blends and watercolor on Thick Whisper White card stock (#140272) to make this image come to life. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink (#132708). I'm on a clean and simple kick lately and this card is no exception.

Saying Goodbye to Needle and Thread Stamp Set

Hello!

I'm back today with another retiring product card. When I first saw the Needle and Thread stamp set (#148724), I was so impressed with how life-like the stitching seemed just by inking up a stamp!

This card showcases that incredible detail. The background looks like fabric to me!

This card, like my last one, is pretty simple but beautiful. I stamped all the flowers in Lovely Lipstick ink (#147140). The leaves are stamped in Lemon Lime Twist ink (#147145) (soooo sad to see this color retire!). Again, with the white heat embossing (#109132). I can't stop! I used Basic Black card stock (#121045). Added the Frosted Epoxy Droplets (#147801) (can't stop, won't stop with those either!) and then finished the card off with a double bow of White Baker's twine (#124262). 

That's it! Nearly a one layer card but with the amazing stamp set, the heat embossing, the Droplets and the Twine, it feels like it has more layers and texture.

Saying Goodbye to Sunshine Wishes

I haven't been around for awhile.

Life happens sometimes, doesn't it?

Today I'm sharing a card with the Sunshine Wishes Dies (#141489) that will be retiring with this catalog. I've gotten a lot of use out of them and I'll be sad to see them go! Usually these scribbly dies lend themselves to a more shabby chic feel but I decided to use the flower in a clean and simple card.

I used Gray Granite (#146983) for the card base and the flower (the leaves are from the Swirly Scribbles dies (#141497)). I embossed a piece of Thick Whisper White card stock (#140272) with the Subtle Embossing Folder (#143706). I white heat embossed (#109132) the sentiment onto Crushed Curry card stock (#131199) and cut it into a strip. Last, I added a bunch of the Clear Epoxy Droplets (#147801).

This is a pretty simple card, but packs a punch! What retiring items are you most sad to see go?
