<br />
I recently got an email from another stamp company. I love to get emails from all kinds of craft companies because I get so much inspiration. In this particular email, was this card that I fell in love with.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhka6UyFzKhUBa-1ShX7yVEnlPQDyOKW4zu7N7aPuCO7bqIF5XiHbbsOAcDEmGn47Wnp3gMbSf5ktUwFZ8eR9iZbpI857RRyoDszmuJQ9jlBtQCkHpljhCbWcymPSH9q_WHEG34KT20op4L/s1600/rebeccaluminarias_inktopaper_junerelease_day3_2019_03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhka6UyFzKhUBa-1ShX7yVEnlPQDyOKW4zu7N7aPuCO7bqIF5XiHbbsOAcDEmGn47Wnp3gMbSf5ktUwFZ8eR9iZbpI857RRyoDszmuJQ9jlBtQCkHpljhCbWcymPSH9q_WHEG34KT20op4L/s400/rebeccaluminarias_inktopaper_junerelease_day3_2019_03.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Credit goes to <a href="http://rebecca luminarias blog" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Rebecca Luminarias of Thurston Post</b></span></a>. I love her creativity and follow her on Instagram. I love the gold off-set frames combined with the soft florals and simple but gorgeous sentiment. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So off to my craft room I went to CASE this beautiful card using only Stampin' Up! supplies (remember that CASE means <b>C</b>opy <b>a</b>nd <b>S</b>electively <b>E</b>dit). Here's the result!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFIkSlh8xiKV-SDlqjQcoIttPoIw8NieWg-dWG89wh5Q5jiqFSMXhd-t8is0BzNXSRFMEsvGRyRFTLocWDzT7Jtytw1izlITDPBsWFm8YxoSy98ZDtZDn3QUFp2UdjIjjSJ82Ff2ZkFXYZ/s1600/IMG_0598+2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFIkSlh8xiKV-SDlqjQcoIttPoIw8NieWg-dWG89wh5Q5jiqFSMXhd-t8is0BzNXSRFMEsvGRyRFTLocWDzT7Jtytw1izlITDPBsWFm8YxoSy98ZDtZDn3QUFp2UdjIjjSJ82Ff2ZkFXYZ/s400/IMG_0598+2.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I pulled out my <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/149638/stitched-nested-labels-dies" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Stitched Nested Labels dies (#149638)</b></span></a> and <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/132622/gold-foil-sheets" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Gold foil paper (#132622)</b></span></a> to create these luxuriously beautiful frames. To make the frames, first die cut the larger label, then place the smaller die on top of that die cut and run it through your machine. Like this:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhy13Gtt-rolgK9ool9LpksHbtCr9jrprnCg4NzTME_9RL5siXkiYXDJ6hS-9YhuBKVvnRLSOAy377JEsgkBdz3OBLfn549q6KQ-NOhQ3oFf1amdUCK4foS5Aka7xacVWBS4l32k6MP0Rq5/s1600/IMG_5111.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhy13Gtt-rolgK9ool9LpksHbtCr9jrprnCg4NzTME_9RL5siXkiYXDJ6hS-9YhuBKVvnRLSOAy377JEsgkBdz3OBLfn549q6KQ-NOhQ3oFf1amdUCK4foS5Aka7xacVWBS4l32k6MP0Rq5/s400/IMG_5111.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Then I just stamped and die cut a bunch of flowers and the leaf stem bunch from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/143666/beautiful-bouquet-photopolymer-stamp-set" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Beautiful Bouquet stamp set (#143666)</b></span></a>. The stems are die cut from Thick Whisper White card stock and sponged with Granny Apple Green ink. The flower colors are Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Petal Pink, Lovely Lipstick, and Mango Melody with fun black centers. I added some <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141979/embossing-paste" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>embossing paste bricks (#141979)</b></span></a> to my card base so that texture was just peeking out behind the decorated panel. </div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJl2woE7uAboFcCiLV3JGW47zQPDEDR5YJgKVRc03_48azNwtgg77IhtDB-EnGBKGK5jpdkwh_FsMfdeOH-ay4UYjU04MPopFl_K_Y2FLSVx2aBTi9v8_eRPGMMb8XeealvL1-iLN_WcZB/s1600/IMG_5612.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJl2woE7uAboFcCiLV3JGW47zQPDEDR5YJgKVRc03_48azNwtgg77IhtDB-EnGBKGK5jpdkwh_FsMfdeOH-ay4UYjU04MPopFl_K_Y2FLSVx2aBTi9v8_eRPGMMb8XeealvL1-iLN_WcZB/s400/IMG_5612.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
To "bundle" my cute bouquet together I heat embossed the wrap image in white embossing powder on Vellum card stock and die cut it out. I attached a little bow using White Baker's Twine.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMt8oUrqd-rUxcVVwHoLRuknuvsZCHV4bf2irmoKAuu_R9aCgoMHh7iLLb2KAHrJfnsaCzW2KGU-Qv_v1AhFX8O35ghIlI7hVmK7UFPkDzn92p8BNpVpHYn_P2f_1QC0xRYKhTL4BINYbK/s1600/IMG_2716.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMt8oUrqd-rUxcVVwHoLRuknuvsZCHV4bf2irmoKAuu_R9aCgoMHh7iLLb2KAHrJfnsaCzW2KGU-Qv_v1AhFX8O35ghIlI7hVmK7UFPkDzn92p8BNpVpHYn_P2f_1QC0xRYKhTL4BINYbK/s400/IMG_2716.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I wanted to keep with the simple sentiment like Rebecca did so just stamped that within the frames. This sentiment comes with the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set. Isn't that so fun?! My husband and I cut a bunch of flowers from our garden this year to put on our moms' graves for Memorial Day. This bouquet reminds me of that. LOVE.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here's the full card once more.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<br />
I recently participated in a card challenge. Some of the Concept Artists at Stampin' Up! have teamed up on Instagram with a fun thing called Stampin' Through the Catalog. They create cards with all the new stamp sets in the Annual Catalog. They did it all last year and with this catalog they've invited anyone who wants to, to stamp with them. The first challenge was using the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/149306/woven-heirlooms-cling-stamp-set" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Woven Heirlooms stamp set (#149306)</span></b></a>. I was lucky enough to have brought that home with me from the last OnStage I attended so I decided to play along! This is the stamp set.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrpQR6GpAboVJmkqVHZ-kXWdAV-jrdGoiVwXGiV3tAdA-Qb3t_6if3kCXKj9BwnwB-L8WkJ4IKzOqaB_rXmgR1dJ1yh6mXuQeoVPtoJo0QSYfiVs8rke7RnRCxzvztyKT11wafPZopdQ5Z/s1600/Woven-Heirloom-Image.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrpQR6GpAboVJmkqVHZ-kXWdAV-jrdGoiVwXGiV3tAdA-Qb3t_6if3kCXKj9BwnwB-L8WkJ4IKzOqaB_rXmgR1dJ1yh6mXuQeoVPtoJo0QSYfiVs8rke7RnRCxzvztyKT11wafPZopdQ5Z/s400/Woven-Heirloom-Image.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And here's the card I made.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGMoWCPlWcovJYVCqlcQPrpgECDFqYvNGHT7Yy4vN9JYm2w0U1EVQM8S4vdgzY8E-Q6kkg8uQtaikW6lZryF0A4vNcSmPlJ_62XOgRupW2bv9AjkewOi2GxFKee13vPtRu0sG54L0Bo9PO/s1600/IMG_4894.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGMoWCPlWcovJYVCqlcQPrpgECDFqYvNGHT7Yy4vN9JYm2w0U1EVQM8S4vdgzY8E-Q6kkg8uQtaikW6lZryF0A4vNcSmPlJ_62XOgRupW2bv9AjkewOi2GxFKee13vPtRu0sG54L0Bo9PO/s400/IMG_4894.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
I think I've said this before but I'm not usually drawn to these more artsy sets but as I created this card, I felt more of an attachment and I will definitely be making more projects with this set!<br />
<br />
I decided to create a fabric looking background for my card. I used the long brushstroke image and inked it first in <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147051/melon-mambo-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Melon Mambo ink (#147051)</span></b></a>. I stamped it with full strength ink then stamped it two more times around the original image without inking it up again. I repeated that process with <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147087/crushed-curry-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Crushed Curry (#147087)</span></b></a> and <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147101/calypso-coral-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Calypso Coral (#147010)</span></b></a> inks. I made sure to overlap the lighter images to make them blend a little. It kind of looks like tie-dye or batik fabric to me. So fun!<br />
<br />
I finished the card off by <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/109132/white-stampin-emboss-powder" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">white heat embossing (#109132)</span></b></a> the gorgeous sentiment onto a square from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/152323/stitched-shapes-dies" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Stitched Shapes die set (#152323)</span></b></a> and then stamped and fussy cut some flowers from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148042/love-what-you-do-photopolymer-stamp-set" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Love What you Do stamp set (#148042)</span></b></a>. The final touch was adding a few <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144219/pearl-basic-jewels" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">pearls (#144219)</span></b></a>.<br />
<br />
Do you have a stamp set you don't particularly love? I challenge you to pull it out and just start creating! I bet you'll find a new love for it if you do! Also if you want to follow along with the challenge follow @stampinthroughthecatalog on Instagram!<br />
<br />
Thanks for visiting me and make sure to stamp something today!<br />

Hello!<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The 2019-2020 Annual Catalog is live!! I have a card using one of my favorite new stamps from the catalog - Free as a Bird (#149468).</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
After I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink (#132708), I used my Stampin' Blends to color in these adorable chubby birds. I used A LOT of ink because I wanted this to feel ethereal and dreamlike. For the sky, I wanted the appearance of some wispy clouds, so I just swiped the Light Pool Party Stampin' Blend marker over the background.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I cut the image out using the Layering Circles Dies (#141705) then backed it with a scalloped circle from that same die set.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixU20wJuGiLmvhX9kyzwzFSETP_vA6FkOfmY3-5joJH3RkT1NC55c9atEJxuIpZmZtlMMoVCQBXMCLTpbZhbZ60uqs1bKM5JwO3yVNMaZY9N8I8O9seFCc1aV2pTWiHUA-CKcNg7MktoZI/s1600/IMG_3112.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixU20wJuGiLmvhX9kyzwzFSETP_vA6FkOfmY3-5joJH3RkT1NC55c9atEJxuIpZmZtlMMoVCQBXMCLTpbZhbZ60uqs1bKM5JwO3yVNMaZY9N8I8O9seFCc1aV2pTWiHUA-CKcNg7MktoZI/s400/IMG_3112.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
More White Heat Embossing on Basic Black card stock, using the Subtle Embossing Folder (#143706) on the card front and this card is complete!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is a beautiful set that I hope will be on your must-have list as well! You can buy all the supplies to create this card <a href="http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/rebeccascreativelife/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #444444;"><b>HERE</b></span></a>. </div>

<br />
Do you love techniques? I do! It gives me endless opportunities to use my supplies in different ways.<br />
<br />
Today, I have a faux watercolor technique and not a drop of water was in sight!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVFQGYBrWymUG5e1rT8k-sNliBJA9MGW4CXs5Jzy5iv-CsFvHKPbVyH-AgE65QiFL07qUvkzKpWzK_kHIt5Lik8zRcUM_-thlvbNRhkVGthb78FfXCy61gml-AFM0H1OXtpC4tpmcmBB6g/s1600/IMG_9687.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVFQGYBrWymUG5e1rT8k-sNliBJA9MGW4CXs5Jzy5iv-CsFvHKPbVyH-AgE65QiFL07qUvkzKpWzK_kHIt5Lik8zRcUM_-thlvbNRhkVGthb78FfXCy61gml-AFM0H1OXtpC4tpmcmBB6g/s400/IMG_9687.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The first thing I did was bring out my Blends. The colors I used were <span style="color: #666666;"><b><a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147031/flirty-flamingo-light-stampin-blends-marker" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">Light Flirty Flamingo (#147031)</span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147933/real-red-light-stampin-blends" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">Light Real Red (#147933)</span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147944/mango-melody-dark-stampin-blends" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">Dark Mango Melody (#147944)</span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147024/call-me-clover-dark-stampin-blends-marker" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">Dark Call Me Clover (#147024)</span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144036/night-of-navy-light-stampin-blends-marker" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">Light Night of Navy (#144036)</span></a></b></span>, and <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144594/pool-party-dark-stampin-blends-marker" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">Dark Pool Party (#144594)</span></a>. I just swiped them on a piece of <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/140272/whisper-white-8-1-2-x-11-thick-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Thick Whisper White card stock (#140272)</b></span></a> overlapping the colors to make them blend a little. I knew they wouldn't blend completely because they were such contrasting colors.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Then I cut that colored piece into strips and adhered them onto another piece of Thick Whisper White card stock making them look like a rainbow of shiplap!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And in case you think I have moved away from white heat embossing..... ;D, I heat embossed (#109132) the sentiment onto the navy strip.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I stamped a butterfly from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/150599/butterfly-gala-photopolymer-bundle" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Butterfly Gala stamp set just in Black and punched it out with the coordinating punch (#150599)</b></span></a>. I love the look this simple image gives to the overall card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Also, again, I used the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/143706/subtle-dynamic-textured-impressions-embossing-folder" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Subtle embossing folder (#143706)</b></span></a> for one of the layers then I scattered some <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146933/basic-adhesive-backed-sequins" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Basic Sequins (#146933)</b></span></a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfIy6OW4BsRq1zF-GAWfPTIYdSEZzHSECv6iUYI4DYfpy-xjmZDjkTB3eje2HG2jSHIMyle-N6tasYm9ps1z34y4a8FDIl1edgFb-bskdVxGvqI2oQOWMGVnEaEd2XpaYh-w9i9toerQnJ/s1600/IMG_8636.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfIy6OW4BsRq1zF-GAWfPTIYdSEZzHSECv6iUYI4DYfpy-xjmZDjkTB3eje2HG2jSHIMyle-N6tasYm9ps1z34y4a8FDIl1edgFb-bskdVxGvqI2oQOWMGVnEaEd2XpaYh-w9i9toerQnJ/s400/IMG_8636.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Lots of color and layers for this fun card! If there's a technique you'd love for me to try and post on the blog, let me know in the comments!</div>

Hello!<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Up today is another one of my favorites from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146808/hand-delivered-photopolymer-stamp-set" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Hand Delivered (#146808)</b></span></a> is a Hostess set that is a dream to color. This is retiring soon so hurry and get yours by placing a $150 order in <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/default.aspx" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>my store</b></span></a>!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3FnHeteGAjHbZotfnLnk-AmzQvAoQGCIU6YMKV9UFbfjvt6ZYuq3_tTbLZ6vH9eMpxUg3ajYMNjZuIEV-lLGy_LxCnyGeK6g-1RVNkP5gCkORPhZjvxL2QhOytK3cZlg3TstdH1cavgBR/s1600/IMG_8662.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3FnHeteGAjHbZotfnLnk-AmzQvAoQGCIU6YMKV9UFbfjvt6ZYuq3_tTbLZ6vH9eMpxUg3ajYMNjZuIEV-lLGy_LxCnyGeK6g-1RVNkP5gCkORPhZjvxL2QhOytK3cZlg3TstdH1cavgBR/s400/IMG_8662.jpeg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is a really versatile stamp set. There's balloons, a sign, a stack of books and this gorgeous cake. Not to mention a bunch of fun sentiments in this fabulous font. I used a combination of <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144595/pool-party-light-stampin-blends-marker" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Stampin' Blends</b></span></a> and watercolor on <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/140272/whisper-white-8-1-2-x-11-thick-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Thick Whisper White card stock (#140272)</b></span></a> to make this image come to life. I used <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/132708/tuxedo-black-memento-ink-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Memento Tuxedo Black ink (#132708)</b></span></a>. I'm on a clean and simple kick lately and this card is no exception. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Have you ordered your must-haves from the retiring list? You only have a couple of days left!</div>

<br />
I'm back today with another retiring product card. When I first saw the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148724/needle-and-thread-photopolymer-stamp-set" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Needle and Thread stamp set (#148724)</b></span></a>, I was so impressed with how life-like the stitching seemed just by inking up a stamp!<br />
<br />
This card showcases that incredible detail. The background looks like fabric to me!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1cDIIRIyQLK4_fgEx44Q0ZbyPeMOkptXO3Ht0lIZkh7UKRgFBa8MRGOs-qMk1LWhiaMvbyMdONnkepzBVmDXzPxMAxn-PQfyDK-NnUxQEAHcS13PZpjvEt3EKYwoWcAo9S5c0EY2LAF2B/s1600/IMG_3104.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1cDIIRIyQLK4_fgEx44Q0ZbyPeMOkptXO3Ht0lIZkh7UKRgFBa8MRGOs-qMk1LWhiaMvbyMdONnkepzBVmDXzPxMAxn-PQfyDK-NnUxQEAHcS13PZpjvEt3EKYwoWcAo9S5c0EY2LAF2B/s400/IMG_3104.jpeg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This card, like my last one, is pretty simple but beautiful. I stamped all the flowers in <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147140/lovely-lipstick-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Lovely Lipstick ink (#147140)</b></span></a>. The leaves are stamped in <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147145/lemon-lime-twist-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Lemon Lime Twist ink (#147145)</b></span></a> <i>(soooo sad to see this color retire!)</i>. Again, with the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/109132/white-stampin-emboss-powder" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>white heat embossing (#109132)</b></span></a>. I can't stop! I used <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/121045/basic-black-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Basic Black card stock (#121045)</b></span></a>. Added the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147801/frosted-and-clear-epoxy-droplets" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Frosted Epoxy Droplets (#147801)</b></span></a> <i>(can't stop, won't stop with those either!)</i> and then finished the card off with a double bow of <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/124262/whisper-white-solid-baker-s-twine" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>White Baker's twine (#124262)</b></span></a>. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
That's it! Nearly a one layer card but with the amazing stamp set, the heat embossing, the Droplets and the Twine, it feels like it has more layers and texture.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If there's anything on the retiring list you haven't gotten yet, don't wait! Time is almost up!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Thanks for visiting me and make sure you stamp something today!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<br />
I haven't been around for awhile.<br />
<br />
Life happens sometimes, doesn't it?<br />
<br />
Today I'm sharing a card with the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141489/sunshine-wishes-thinlits-dies" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Sunshine Wishes Dies (#141489)</b></span></a> that will be retiring with this catalog. I've gotten a lot of use out of them and I'll be sad to see them go! Usually these scribbly dies lend themselves to a more shabby chic feel but I decided to use the flower in a clean and simple card.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146983/gray-granite-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Gray Granite (#146983)</b></span></a> for the card base and the flower (the leaves are from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141497/swirly-scribbles-thinlits-dies" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Swirly Scribbles dies (#141497)</b></span></a>). I embossed a piece of <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/140272/whisper-white-8-1-2-x-11-thick-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Thick Whisper White card stock (#140272)</b></span></a> with the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/143706/subtle-dynamic-textured-impressions-embossing-folder" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Subtle Embossing Folder (#143706)</b></span></a>. Last, I added a bunch of the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147801/frosted-and-clear-epoxy-droplets" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Clear Epoxy Droplets (#147801)</b></span></a>.</div>

This is a pretty simple card, but packs a punch! What retiring items are you most sad to see go?<br />

Hello!<br />
<br />
I'm back this week with not one but 5 cards!<br />
<br />
The disclaimer is that they're all the exact same layout, just different color combos. Stampin' Up! OnStage is coming up pretty quickly. OnStage is where Demonstrators from all over the country/world gather together to learn business tips, see new products and catalogs and make fun projects. It's an overwhelmingly amazing time!<br />
<br />
While at OnStage we have the choice of whether we want to swap cards with other Demonstrators or not. Last time I went, I didn't swap and I regretted it. This time I'm going to. I made a small stack of cards to swap and I'm excited to see what I bring home!<br />
<br />
I've been craving Spring so much, I decided to make a card using our new <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/150599/butterfly-gala-photopolymer-bundle" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Butterfly Gala bundle (#150599)</b></span></a> and our <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148554/gingham-gala-6-x-6-15-2-x-15-2-cm-designer-series-paper" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Gingham Gala 6x6 DSP (#148554)</b></span></a>.<br />
<br />
Here's my card:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEp76cABhBZM24HyW9wbyQVoB3641wsmaOcUXwC4-eugzsT_WV9-jBLvxFhm_3gZ5jHhaRV9nsMJ2goc68bDYIGJnsgwsjSOKJTZj9Yf0qkiFg89ZxOQ_RsOJdhknT1qqEcAlkETT8cZKp/s1600/IMG_1977.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEp76cABhBZM24HyW9wbyQVoB3641wsmaOcUXwC4-eugzsT_WV9-jBLvxFhm_3gZ5jHhaRV9nsMJ2goc68bDYIGJnsgwsjSOKJTZj9Yf0qkiFg89ZxOQ_RsOJdhknT1qqEcAlkETT8cZKp/s400/IMG_1977.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is a really simple card to put together. You start by adhering a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of the Gingham Gala DSP on the front of a <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/140272/whisper-white-8-1-2-x-11-thick-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Thick Whisper White (#140272)</b></span></a> card using <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/104332/snail-adhesive" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Snail Adhesive (#104332)</b></span></a>. Here I used the yellow. Then trim another piece of Thick Whisper White to 2" x 5" and punch the bottom with the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/138292/banner-triple-punch" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Triple Banner Punch (#138292)</b></span></a>. Next you take your Butterfly punch and slide the banner end in all the way to the punch. After you've punched out your two butterflies, you take that piece over to your Big Shot and emboss it using the Subtle Embossing Folder. Next you adhere it to your card front using <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/104430/stampin-dimensionals" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Dimensionals (#104430)</b></span></a>. White heat emboss your sentiment on a piece of card stock. Here I used <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141416/flirty-flamingo-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Flirty Flamingo card stock (#141416)</b></span></a>. Once your sentiment is cool, punch using the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141491/classic-label-punch" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Classic Label punch (#141491)</b></span></a>. Add a Mini Dimensional to the center back of the sentiment label and a little snail to each end and adhere over the largest butterfly opening. Then all that's left to do is attach sequins. Here I added the Lemon Lime Twist ones from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148561/gingham-gala-adhesive-backed-sequins" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins (#148561)</b></span></a>.</div>

<br />
It's been a minute since I've checked in. Did you miss me? :D I've decided that, at least for awhile, I'm going to post only once a week. Thursday will be the day! You can follow me on Instagram @rebeccascreativelife for additional project photos.<br />
<br />
I was asked to organize a birthday card class for the ladies in our Relief Society. Relief Society is an organization for women 18+ in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I really love doing card classes. We made a very simple card but everyone who participated seemed to really like the experience. There was even one lady who made several. She had that much fun! That's one of the best things about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I love to see the look on people's faces when they create something they didn't think they could do. They're happy and I'm happy.<br />
<br />
Here's the card we made:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3N3rw7H3HCB5TRDNWJofWOPk4zBmM9x6DIdJyslz0rCj8hgnltFBAHUxPy0gfd4ZvgMBHM4drlmklVtLWDqYC0vD7jCVI77iu8F71d28Umkn1bE4Dv0mUnWDF2qP3nW3L0L0FEgBp3HZv/s1600/IMG_0482.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3N3rw7H3HCB5TRDNWJofWOPk4zBmM9x6DIdJyslz0rCj8hgnltFBAHUxPy0gfd4ZvgMBHM4drlmklVtLWDqYC0vD7jCVI77iu8F71d28Umkn1bE4Dv0mUnWDF2qP3nW3L0L0FEgBp3HZv/s400/IMG_0482.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I didn't use any Stampin' Up! DSP *GASP*. I know. But I have so much other patterned paper in my craft room I thought I'd use up some of that in this instance.<br />
<br />
The card base is <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/140272/whisper-white-8-1-2-x-11-thick-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Thick Whisper White (#140272)</b></span></a>. The sentiment is from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/145519/picture-perfect-birthday-photopolymer-stamp-set" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set (#145519)</b></span></a> stamped in <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/132708/tuxedo-black-memento-ink-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Memento Tuxedo Black ink (#132708)</b></span></a>. Then punched with the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144668/everyday-label-punch" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Everyday Label punch (#144668)</b></span></a>.<br />
<br />
We used random colors of twine from my stash. Some Stampin' Up!, some not. Again, I have a ton of twine that I've wanted to get through so I used what matched the patterned paper.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/104430/stampin-dimensionals" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>The label is attached with Dimensionals (#104430)</b></span></a>. I have a hard time NOT using Dimensionals on my projects!<br />
<br />
Last, we used retired enamel shapes in the different Stampin' Up! colors. I sure miss those. I used them all the time so I was glad to pull them out again.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNdYbc_CAn8waeyru42gaN5x7Kf8Xz0ho-fWAaJultRb9cL0iiimtVrM19ud2OeVwjrgcLtli45W3g8UbHRqiyCfq08XXuNu99Ezh5nxqEMqtBHHIRXE7Duha-bUsZ19IFkvpOCbyl_TqV/s1600/IMG_4215.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNdYbc_CAn8waeyru42gaN5x7Kf8Xz0ho-fWAaJultRb9cL0iiimtVrM19ud2OeVwjrgcLtli45W3g8UbHRqiyCfq08XXuNu99Ezh5nxqEMqtBHHIRXE7Duha-bUsZ19IFkvpOCbyl_TqV/s400/IMG_4215.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
And that's it! Like I said, super simple but the ladies loved their creations.<br />
<br />
Thanks for visiting me today!<br />

<br />
Today's card is sweet, happy and simple. I pulled out a Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog from a few years back and just perused the pages until I found this cute card.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrmSRYPpXmT2zsgLkISMU0fOuA4yv8WAtHJQ-7Ra_uUGzxwHmLxQR_7W4oPxu7QDddyZlcmvGfQKNckpjIAGn7PU-jqDuv61fcBd5yx-XU3cXS2XlcZcz1k6QVj_F0buqgs2eDrvONDFCk/s1600/IMG_9760.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrmSRYPpXmT2zsgLkISMU0fOuA4yv8WAtHJQ-7Ra_uUGzxwHmLxQR_7W4oPxu7QDddyZlcmvGfQKNckpjIAGn7PU-jqDuv61fcBd5yx-XU3cXS2XlcZcz1k6QVj_F0buqgs2eDrvONDFCk/s400/IMG_9760.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It's sweet and colorful and best of all, it's quick to complete! Here's mine:</div>
<br />

<br />
Have you seen the February Paper Pumpkin Kit? The thing I love about Paper Pumpkin Kits is I don't have to do any thinking. I can just sit down and create. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE to plan out my projects, but sometimes I enjoy having someone come up with the ideas for me. Paper Pumpkin does just that for me once a month. I'm not always a fan of the kits but I don't let that bother me because I know there are always alternatives I can create with the supplies in the kits.<br />
<br />
I do love the uniqueness of the February kit though. Here it is in action:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/qne_zrqcmgs/0.jpg" frameborder="0" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/qne_zrqcmgs?feature=player_embedded" width="320"></iframe></div>
<br />
Aren't they such pretty cards?!<br />
<br />
I decided to take the included stamp set and make a couple of cards on my own because I just love the succulent in the teacup.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

This first one is bright and colorful. I first stamped the teacup image all over the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/140272/whisper-white-8-1-2-x-11-thick-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Thick Whisper White card base (#140272)</b></span></a> in <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/132708/tuxedo-black-memento-ink-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Memento Tuxedo Black ink (#132708)</b></span></a>. Then I stamped the image again on a scrap piece of Thick Whisper White and colored it with my Blends. The colors I used were <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146866/petal-pink-light-stampin-blends-marker" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Light Petal Pink (#146866)</b></span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144045/calypso-coral-stampin-blends-markers-combo-pack" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Light and Dark Calypso Coral (#144045)</b></span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147273/soft-suede-stampin-blends-markers-combo-pack" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Light and Dark Soft Suede (#147273)</b></span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/145054/smoky-slate-light-stampin-blends-marker" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Light Smoky Slate (#145054)</b></span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144586/daffodil-delight-light-stampin-blends-marker" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Light Daffodil Delight (#144586)</b></span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147274/granny-apple-green-stampin-blends-markers-combo-pack" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Light and Dark Granny Apple Green (#147274)</b></span></a>, and <span style="color: #666666;"><b><a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144574/old-olive-light-stampin-blends-marker" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">Light Old Olive (#144574</span></a>)</b></span>. Then I fussy cut it using my <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/103579/paper-snips" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Paper Snips (#103579)</b></span></a>. I punched a 2" piece of <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/131197/bermuda-bay-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Bermuda Bay card stock (#131197)</b></span></a> with the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/133324/scalloped-tag-topper-punch" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Scallop Tag Topper Punch (#133324)</b></span></a>. After I stamped the diamond pattern on it with one of the kit stamps in <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147096/bermuda-bay-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Bermuda Bay ink (#147096)</b></span></a>, I ran it through my <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/143263/big-shot" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Big Shot (#143263)</b></span></a> using the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/143706/subtle-dynamic-textured-impressions-embossing-folder" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Subtle Dynamic Texture Impression Embossing Folder (#143706)</b></span></a>. I adhered the tag to my card base with <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/104430/stampin-dimensionals" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430)</b></span></a>. I attached a length of <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146953/pineapple-punch-1-8-3-2-mm-grosgrain-ribbon" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Pineapple Punch Grosgrain ribbon (#146953)</b></span></a> to the back of my teacup and adhered it to the card with more Dimensionals. I <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/129053/heat-tool-us-and-canada" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>white heat embossed (#109132) (#129053)</b></span></a>, the sentiment on <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/121045/basic-black-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Basic Black card stock (#121045)</b></span></a>, cut the finished sentiment and cut around the script writing, again using my Paper Snips.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAIarDR21Faje6nXX_cFxzO95fwH19H4N56QndkgKraXgfqcpayhcOg4ga9Cjj6ZzaQM7EZJdLGiJxauy7g1k5NonaGNKiiDoDM9vEXwKucTxiNKjvLo3zO8ui7jOhyphenhyphenbXJo4UBcbLkqhlI/s400/IMG_8409.JPG" width="300" /></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
With my second card, I tried a fun technique. I've seen other card makers use colored pencils on kraft card stock and have wanted to try it for the longest time. It didn't turn out too bad for a first try, if I say so myself!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiT_W8o7MLe-qZwNskDyZKv10jFnhorNqLMx2qUdhbWnLNLhcZIQ2R4QhqneLQfGY3IAeD3Eoagwm0tO0qOddkjUHn9waA_ga7pmTl-a7j_AXDczc1wDy1TI0VJmO0bTt0LI-HkSADINlN-/s1600/IMG_2053.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiT_W8o7MLe-qZwNskDyZKv10jFnhorNqLMx2qUdhbWnLNLhcZIQ2R4QhqneLQfGY3IAeD3Eoagwm0tO0qOddkjUHn9waA_ga7pmTl-a7j_AXDczc1wDy1TI0VJmO0bTt0LI-HkSADINlN-/s400/IMG_2053.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/109132/white-stampin-emboss-powder" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>white heat embossed (#109132)</b></span></a> the image and the sentiments first on <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/120953/crumb-cake-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Crumb Cake card stock (#120953)</b></span></a>. Then I took my <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141709/watercolor-pencils" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>watercolor pencils (#141709)</b></span></a> and started coloring and shading. One thing I did was to lay down a layer of white pencil to the After the coloring was done, I took that diamond pattern again and heat embossed it on the front of the teacup. Make sure you always add color under your image so that it's grounded and not "floating" on your project. Lastly I added 3 little wood hearts from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146906/frames-elements" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Frames Elements (#146906)</b></span></a>. I used <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/138309/fine-tip-glue-pen" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Fine Tip Glue (#138309)</b></span></a> to keep them nice and secure. I attached that whole panel to my card base using Dimensionals.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiGGEOezHfknNXS3zkcnAI6udyJWAt6OIFumI30uVQIG0b-MUiPuEmyBGbxmvjiIPWgZpn53Fzwxmv-8-BINfLGIYlergDjGTG7waAWerPeVhBe7Fx4NcMskLT4LqTd9Djdw-TPBdXaM5L/s1600/IMG_9567.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiGGEOezHfknNXS3zkcnAI6udyJWAt6OIFumI30uVQIG0b-MUiPuEmyBGbxmvjiIPWgZpn53Fzwxmv-8-BINfLGIYlergDjGTG7waAWerPeVhBe7Fx4NcMskLT4LqTd9Djdw-TPBdXaM5L/s400/IMG_9567.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>

<br />
My card today is clean but glitzy. Is that even possible? Judge for yourself!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3Kwl9XGtI0CAIvwIRhaeMOu6eL7NmcP9SpJ07Qs3fZfkk9le7BcopRJSbZOPr0DHyd7uV3ZVt8ddlt90CcYwBByEKUDxgvyg6zAxGHr1wscDQjWOsNhVlccw8oK1lsk-ZJmQ_rhZrBr51/s1600/IMG_5320.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3Kwl9XGtI0CAIvwIRhaeMOu6eL7NmcP9SpJ07Qs3fZfkk9le7BcopRJSbZOPr0DHyd7uV3ZVt8ddlt90CcYwBByEKUDxgvyg6zAxGHr1wscDQjWOsNhVlccw8oK1lsk-ZJmQ_rhZrBr51/s400/IMG_5320.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I've been itching to see the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/149698/country-floral-dynamic-textured-impressions-embossing-folder" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Country Floral Embossing Folder (#149698)</b></span></a> in action and I was not disappointed in the least! It is SO gorgeous! The Country Floral Embossing Folder is FREE during Sale A Bration with a $50 order.<br />
<br />
I embossed my <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/140272/whisper-white-8-1-2-x-11-thick-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Thick Whisper White (#140272)</b></span></a> card with that amazing textured embossing folder. Then I took my Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint (I'm so sorry but this is no longer available. You could substitute the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147044/champagne-mist-shimmer-paint" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Champaign Mist Shimmer Paint (#147044)</span></b></a> to get a similar effect) and flicked the front of the card. I love that stuff. And it looks like I've applied flecks of gold leafing to the front of my card.<br />
<br />
Then I die cut a <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/145372/stitched-shapes-framelits-dies" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>stitched circle (#145372)</b></span></a> from <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/101856/vellum-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Vellum card stock (#101856)</b></span> </a>and adhered it to the card base with a little <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/110755/multipurpose-liquid-glue" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Tombow Mono Liquid Glue (#110755)</b></span></a>, being careful to only apply it where I knew my sentiment cluster would cover it.<br />
<br />
Next I die cut the flower from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141489/sunshine-wishes-thinlits-dies" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Sunshine Wishes Thinlets (#141489)</b></span></a> in <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146985/petal-pink-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Petal Pink card stock (#146985)</b></span></a>. I added shading to it by sponging some <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147142/grapefruit-grove-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Grapefruit Grove ink (#147142)</b></span></a> with a <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/133773/sponge-daubers" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>sponge dauber (#133773)</b></span></a> . I started pretty dark towards the bottom but then got lighter as I went up.<br />
<br />
I took a piece of <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146954/grapefruit-grove-1-8-3-2-mm-grosgrain-ribbon" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Grapefruit Grove Grosgrain ribbon (#146954)</b></span></a> and <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144128/gold-mini-sequin-trim" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Gold Mini Sequin Trim (#144128)</b></span></a> and tied them together with a piece of <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/124262/whisper-white-solid-baker-s-twine" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Whisper White Baker's Twine (#124262)</b></span></a>. I attached that to the flower with <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/103683/mini-glue-dots" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Mini Glue Dots (#103683)</b></span></a>.<br />
<br />
Then I took a thin piece of the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/149622/botanical-butterfly-designer-series-paper" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Botanical Butterfly DSP (#149622)</b></span></a> - <i>remember this is also a FREE item during Sale A Bration with a $50 order</i> - and adhered it under the ribbon cluster with the same Tombow glue. After I <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/109132/white-stampin-emboss-powder" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>white heat embossed (#109132)</b></span></a> the sentiment from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146440/free-cake-clear-mount-stamp-set" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Free Cake stamp set (#146440)</b></span></a> onto <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/121045/basic-black-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Basic Black card stock (#121045)</b></span></a>, I die cut it with a die from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141488/bunch-of-banners-framelits-dies" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Bunch of Banners framelits (#141488)</b></span></a> and adhered it to the card with <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/104430/stampin-dimensionals" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430)</b></span></a>.<br />
<br />
Lastly, because enough was surely NOT enough, I adhered three <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146910/faceted-dots" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Faceted Dots (#146910)</b></span></a> in the color of Grapefruit Grove.<br />

<br />
I am LOVING today's card. Sometimes, I get an idea in my head and it doesn't really turn out as well as I thought it would but not today! This card turned out even better than I pictured and I'm realizing this is totally my style. Neutrals with pops of color.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The polka dot paper is from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/149622/botanical-butterfly-designer-series-paper" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Botanical Butterfly DSP (#149622)</b></span></a> you can get FREE with a qualifying order during Sale-A-Bration. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I had an image in my mind of "floating banners" to make a kind of faux shaker card. I used the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148551/rectangle-stitched-framelits-dies" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Stitched Rectangles Framelits (#148551)</b></span></a> to make a white frame. Then I cut out a bunch of banners using the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146352/playful-pennants-framelits-dies" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Playful Pennants Framelits (#146352)</b></span></a> in <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146970/lovely-lipstick-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Lovely Lipstick (#146970)</b></span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146985/petal-pink-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Petal Pink (#146985)</b></span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144245/lemon-lime-twist-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Lemon Lime Twist (#144245)</b></span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146969/call-me-clover-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Call Me Clover (#146969)</b></span></a>, and <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/131297/coastal-cabana-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Coastal Cabana (#131297)</b></span></a> card stocks. After I adhered them onto the back of the frame, I added a piece of <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/101856/vellum-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Vellum Card Stock (#101856)</b></span></a> to the back. The faux shaker card is adhered to the card front using <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141825/foam-adhesive-strips" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Foam Adhesive Strips (#141825)</b></span></a> so you get the feel of a shaker card but you don't have anything loose inside.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Then I took a sentiment from <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/145519/picture-perfect-birthday-photopolymer-stamp-set" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Picture Perfect Birthday (#145519)</b></span></a> and <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/109132/white-stampin-emboss-powder" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>white heat embossed (#109132)</b></span></a> it onto <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/121045/basic-black-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Basic Black card stock (#121045)</b></span></a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And what's a party without confetti? So I added 3 sequins from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144212/iridescent-sequin-assortment" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Iridescent Sequins Assortment (#144212)</b></span></a>. Just a bit of sparkle and fun in coordinating colors.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmODwHosKUcyEuuRxefuaEMyTRY5UFM8RllsMtOGJBmCOOYr_EHi6dmVXDeCV0XhzvV5lx22qbPzu-fYzcojZfabuuolhQEoRTXdEsFDZY3pO-JHuOxAVlTtN_p1iWMM26lJUqXjxLqqp3/s400/IMG_4720.JPG" width="300" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I hope this card makes you as happy as it makes me! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<br />
I've been trying to spend A LOT of time in my craft room the last few weeks. When I let several days go by without doing at least a little creating, I start to lose my mojo. So even if I have to CASE a card (remember what I told you about CASE-ing? It's copying someone else's card but making a few tweaks to make it your own), at least I'm creating and it keeps ideas flowing.<br />
<br />
Hence today's card:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgab6dcqNMQrUiRf7qU2-v-eMRv8RDGLwwWkcF5aYcK88agyaMSX9QSzV_g5c99R2yO8_PWpvhEwuUCK2GNoc4d7E22gVkurtbF6Wn7viQiFyS1vNTaImtZ9vllh41YZeAZnVdWwM0ASIYS/s1600/IMG_7025.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgab6dcqNMQrUiRf7qU2-v-eMRv8RDGLwwWkcF5aYcK88agyaMSX9QSzV_g5c99R2yO8_PWpvhEwuUCK2GNoc4d7E22gVkurtbF6Wn7viQiFyS1vNTaImtZ9vllh41YZeAZnVdWwM0ASIYS/s400/IMG_7025.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I CASEd this card from an amazing demonstrator named Kylie Bertucci. If you haven't heard of her, where have you been?! :D</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148795/happiness-blooms-12-x-12-30-5-x-30-5-cm-designer-series-paper" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper (#148795)</b></span></a> as my background. I mounted that piece onto a panel of <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/140272/whisper-white-8-1-2-x-11-thick-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Thick Whisper White card stock (#140272)</b></span></a> and then attached that to a <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/100867/night-of-navy-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Night of Navy (#100867)</b></span></a> card base using <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/104332/snail-adhesive" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Snail adhesive (#104332)</b></span></a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Then I <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/109132/white-stampin-emboss-powder" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>white heat embossed (#109132)</b></span></a> a sentiment from the <b><span style="color: #666666;"><a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148042/love-what-you-do-photopolymer-stamp-set" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">Love What You Do stamp set (#148042</span></a>) </span></b>on Night of Navy card stock and then punched it out with the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144668/everyday-label-punch" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Everyday Label punch (#144668)</b></span></a>. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Behind the label I attached <span style="color: #666666;"><a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146969/call-me-clover-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Call Me Clover (#146969)</b></span></a> <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144667/leaf-punch" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>leaves (#144667)</b></span></a></span> that I ran through the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/143706/subtle-dynamic-textured-impressions-embossing-folder" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Subtle Embossing Folder (#143706)</b></span></a>. In addition I added <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/138401/gold-metallic-thread" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Gold Metallic Thread (#138401)</span></b></a> to add to the nice cluster feel.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I would have never thought to put these colors together. That's what so great about our DSP! I always feel inspired!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<br />
This post is going up a little later than normal today but at least it's still Tuesday! :D<br />
<br />
For this card I combined 3 different stamp sets. I used <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/143928/wood-words-clear-mount-stamp-set" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Wood Words (#143928)</b></span></a> for the floral images on the card base, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148580/butterfly-gala-photopolymer-stamp-set" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Butterfly Gala (#148580)</b></span></a> for the butterfly images, and <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148700/flowering-desert-photopolymer-stamp-set" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Flowering Desert (#148700)</b></span></a> for the sentiment.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijBoamNXcos2mpp2u7RtcOdJZ-93yaf1sjiOoD6BIaO742R-jLRr0PvgdzyVKGHMCk8V87ZCuUIZ5vl1C_C6Ne5aVxg5rJY9nYqgLEJrj-wSmQ7Xxhy2RD4ot1DcU3uFILUOxklX57Zumm/s1600/IMG_0484.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijBoamNXcos2mpp2u7RtcOdJZ-93yaf1sjiOoD6BIaO742R-jLRr0PvgdzyVKGHMCk8V87ZCuUIZ5vl1C_C6Ne5aVxg5rJY9nYqgLEJrj-wSmQ7Xxhy2RD4ot1DcU3uFILUOxklX57Zumm/s400/IMG_0484.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used a <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/133773/sponge-daubers" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Sponge Dauber (#133773)</b></span></a> to add color using <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147051/melon-mambo-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Melon Mambo (#147051)</b></span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147142/grapefruit-grove-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Grapefruit Grove (#147142)</b></span></a>, and <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147145/lemon-lime-twist-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Lemon Lime Twist (#147145)</b></span></a>. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
To make the shaker window I die cut a frame using the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148551/rectangle-stitched-framelits-dies" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Stitched Rectangles Framelits (#148551)</b></span></a> and glued a piece of <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/142314/window-sheets" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Window Sheet (#142314)</b></span></a> to the back. Then I popped it up using the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141825/foam-adhesive-strips" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Foam Adhesive Strips (#141825)</b></span></a>. For the shaker pieces I used the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144212/iridescent-sequin-assortment" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Irridescent Sequin Assortment (#144212)</b></span></a> and <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146956/black-stampin-emboss-powder" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>black heat embossed (#146956)</b></span></a> one of the wood butterflies you can get for free during Sale A Bration with a qualifying order. I love the unexpected element that little black butterfly brings.</div>

Hello!<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I'm going clean, fresh but with just a little grunge on this card today. I pulled out the Flowering <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148700/flowering-desert-photopolymer-stamp-set" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Desert stamp set (#148700)</b></span></a> again.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I die cut 3 small rectangles from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148551/rectangle-stitched-framelits-dies" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Stitched Rectangle Framelits (#148551)</b></span></a> to use as mini palettes for my succulents. The colors I used on the cacti are <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147106/mint-macaron-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Mint Macaron (#147106)</b></span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147118/gray-granite-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Gray Granite (#147118)</b></span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147111/mossy-meadow-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Mossy Meadow (#147111)</b></span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147088/shaded-spruce-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Shaded Spruce (#147088)</b></span></a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147104/pear-pizzazz-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Pear Pizzaz (#147104)</b></span></a>, and <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147051/melon-mambo-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Melon Mambo (#147051)</b></span></a>. Then I took another piece of <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/140272/whisper-white-8-1-2-x-11-thick-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Thick Whisper White card stock (#140272)</b></span></a>, and ran it through my <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148026/corrugated-dynamic-textured-impressions-embossing-folder" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Corrugated Dynamic Embossing Folder (#148026)</b></span></a> and did a little marker spritzing with my Basic <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/100082/basic-black-stampin-write-marker" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Black Stampin' Write Marker (#100082)</b></span></a>. I used <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/110755/multipurpose-liquid-glue" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Tombow Mono glue (#110755)</b></span></a> to adhere all of that to my card base. I love the pops of color agains the white! In my close-up, you can see I used one of the small cactus stamps and turn it into two rocks under the first plant.</div>
<br />

Hello!<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Today I decided to CASE a card from the Annual Catalog. In case you don't know what CASE-ing is, it stands for Copy and Share Everything (or other people say it means Copy and Selectively Edit). Either way, I'm using this card as my inspiration. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnEX0vkNyODymIubN6py4ggNM0F3psMgGlzpEIBw6Ba37ctvx7isviMHbrfM3vyvv7FpS2ny_g5mv1bfEdxRBAaKTIAcoxPP86TNJ0IuJ8MVlAk3fv-Q3BFYWWnUwnEXFqkWJYImlEeZrj/s1600/IMG_2081.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnEX0vkNyODymIubN6py4ggNM0F3psMgGlzpEIBw6Ba37ctvx7isviMHbrfM3vyvv7FpS2ny_g5mv1bfEdxRBAaKTIAcoxPP86TNJ0IuJ8MVlAk3fv-Q3BFYWWnUwnEXFqkWJYImlEeZrj/s320/IMG_2081.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Those Concept Artists are so talented, aren't they?? The only thing I had in this layout was the wood circle frame. This is my CASE of that card.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibURm8W-Ql9YfSdZf4dhLD8r7SUx3cLtm6r8i4Me53pKRMQP3a-MG1BZTY2Jz7HlKT09efzTzXMdUFNs-yiT5ILrvHcROCmgTGLHwIzKu-67L1aRIrarGg8yMIgfX8unEwnHr9xmOA-mew/s1600/IMG_8024.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibURm8W-Ql9YfSdZf4dhLD8r7SUx3cLtm6r8i4Me53pKRMQP3a-MG1BZTY2Jz7HlKT09efzTzXMdUFNs-yiT5ILrvHcROCmgTGLHwIzKu-67L1aRIrarGg8yMIgfX8unEwnHr9xmOA-mew/s400/IMG_8024.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I took a piece of the Butterfly Gala DSP and used my blends to color it. The shading that's printed on the DSP really makes you look like an artist even if you aren't! I traced around each butterfly with Smoky Slate blends to make them pop off the paper a little more. I think it turned out gorgeous if I do say so myself! Since I didn't have the leaf trim, I used Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpSmxomzC07ATd1nc6qKrnUXxhlH1nwFV__8beFfrPO4wFHsSTcM1oGB5s0WHoFMDtkgFMuT-D7uPxceosWeJ0UcvaZ1uvy2ed_-grwYn_wChi6Fmb7XGZrN9BSQY-8ECO4d8y1sh0qUqZ/s1600/IMG_8441.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpSmxomzC07ATd1nc6qKrnUXxhlH1nwFV__8beFfrPO4wFHsSTcM1oGB5s0WHoFMDtkgFMuT-D7uPxceosWeJ0UcvaZ1uvy2ed_-grwYn_wChi6Fmb7XGZrN9BSQY-8ECO4d8y1sh0qUqZ/s400/IMG_8441.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So I CASED the card in both ways. I copied the layout but I edited it with supplies I had on hand. CASE-ing is a really great way to branch out in your card making. Try it!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Thanks for visiting me today!</div>

<br />
Back again today and yay it's Friday! I'm not tired of the week but I always look forward to Fridays because it's the start of me getting to spend two straight days with Superman. I kinda like hanging out with that guy.<br />
<br />
Stampin' Up! has started a campaign that they call #simplestamping. It's to help everyone remember that you don't need a mountain of supplies to create great cards. I was creating samples for Stamp Club this week and decided to create a simple stamped card.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmLoTRHvWmrUUZ9trQCkqE8f5tetoEK_GPY46XKfTfUYpAUww-qs_WlRyk86C-t9MHRgBvW-Fx0_fuN4shi_OtMbx-lUuKIRrbkpXUYtu-OcnoY2XWuFS55RylaoQE0DdxcnBSYlls1ZYS/s1600/IMG_1792.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmLoTRHvWmrUUZ9trQCkqE8f5tetoEK_GPY46XKfTfUYpAUww-qs_WlRyk86C-t9MHRgBvW-Fx0_fuN4shi_OtMbx-lUuKIRrbkpXUYtu-OcnoY2XWuFS55RylaoQE0DdxcnBSYlls1ZYS/s400/IMG_1792.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I used the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148708/incredible-like-you-photopolymer-stamp-set" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Incredible Like You stamp set (#148708)</span></b></a>. All I did was take a 4 1/4"x4 14" <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/101650/very-vanilla-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><b><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666;">Very Vanilla card (#101650)</span></b></a>, stamp the line image twice in <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147101/calypso-coral-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Calypso Coral (#147101)</b></span></a> (stamping off once both times), stamp the sentiment with <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/132708/tuxedo-black-memento-ink-pad" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Memento Tuxedo Black ink (#132708)</b></span></a>, then tie a piece of <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144235/calypso-coral-1-4-ombre-ribbon" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Calypso Ombre ribbon (#144235)</b></span></a> around and boom! Finished card in less than 4 minutes!<br />
<br />
Making elaborate cards is fun but it doesn't require lots of time or supplies to be satisfying and beautiful!<br />
<br />
Thanks for visit me today. Go ahead and make a #simplestamping card today. See how you like it!<br />

<br />
It's been awhile since I've talked about Paper Pumpkin. Do you know what Paper Pumpkin is? It's a monthly subscription box that allows you quick and fun crafting right to your mailbox. Included each month is everything you need to create several projects (except scissors for cutting ribbon/twine). You always get a stamp set and ink as well. It costs $19.95 plus tax (shipping is included in the price) so it's a really great value! You can contact me to start your own subscription. You aren't locked in once you start. You can skip a month or two or cancel at any time. I love going to my mailbox each month and seeing something besides bills, don't you?<br />
<br />
I'm really looking forward to February's kit because suddenly, succulents have really caught my attention. Here are my friends Sarah and Leana to give you a peek. After the video, scroll down to see the cute cactus card I made. :)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe width="320" height="266" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/IpPa5ze3Drk/0.jpg" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/IpPa5ze3Drk?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And now for my card:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb3ZKcwqyHZBx2p5iM-8YveUVkWJ-eu8Q4jrPSXtqsuCrwBUmUyJcyOdxqIad23pnqOR8iTPyOv9G_fiascfQubW8lf_UUUwUnZEiy-R7s-R-grpftTZn539B40a83W1IElYn3aWhuijRE/s1600/IMG_1076.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb3ZKcwqyHZBx2p5iM-8YveUVkWJ-eu8Q4jrPSXtqsuCrwBUmUyJcyOdxqIad23pnqOR8iTPyOv9G_fiascfQubW8lf_UUUwUnZEiy-R7s-R-grpftTZn539B40a83W1IElYn3aWhuijRE/s400/IMG_1076.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am SO happy with how this card turned out! My style at it's finest. Clean and simple with lots of white. I used the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148700/flowering-desert-photopolymer-stamp-set" target="_blank">Flowering Desert stamp set (#148700)</a> from the 2019 Occasions Catalog. I did CASE the design from Mary Fish but changed it up just a little. First I die cut a panel using one of the new <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148551/rectangle-stitched-framelits-dies" target="_blank">Stitched Rectangle Framelits (#148551)</a> which are also found in the 2019 Occasions Catalog. These are definitely a MUST HAVE. Then, I sponged a little sunrise glow using <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147108/petal-pink-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank">Petal Pink ink (#147108)</a> and a <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141337/stamping-sponges" target="_blank">Stampin' Sponge (#141337)</a>. Next, I stamped the saguaro cactus in <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147090/old-olive-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank">Old Olive ink (#147090)</a> right over top of the pink. I stamped the greeting in <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/132708/tuxedo-black-memento-ink-pad" target="_blank">Memento Tuxedo Black ink (#132708)</a> and then comes the fun part. I did a little research on what saguaro blooms look like. They are generally white with creamy yellow centers so I took one of the wood flowers from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/category/10100/sale-a-bration" target="_blank">Butterfly Elements</a> that you can get free during <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/category/10100/sale-a-bration" target="_blank">Sale-A-Bration </a>with a $50 order. I pressed the top of the flower into some <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147277/uninked-stampin%E2%80%99-craft-pad-and-whisper-white-refill" target="_blank">White Craft Ink (#147277)</a> then sprinkled <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/109132/white-stampin-emboss-powder" target="_blank">White Embossing Powder (#109132)</a> over top. Just heat it till it melts and is glossy. I used my <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147944/mango-melody-dark-stampin-blends" target="_blank">Dark Mango Melody Stampin' Blends marker (#147944)</a> to color one of my <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144219/pearl-basic-jewels" target="_blank">Pearls (#144219)</a> so it mimicked the real-life saguaro blooms (NOTE: Stampin' Up! does not recommend using Blends to color embellishments as it may damage the tip of the marker. Use at your own risk). Then, using <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/103683/mini-glue-dots" target="_blank">Mini Glue Dots (#103683)</a>, I adhered the colored pearl to the flower center then the flower to the cactus.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Then I adhered the finished panel to the Notecard (#131527) using dimensionals (#104430).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So simple but isn't it so cute! Here's a little closeup of the embossed wood flower.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I live in a desert but not surrounded by cacti so I usually don't go for the cactus sets. For some reason though this one was calling my name and I can't wait to make more cards using it!</div>

Hello!<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
As I mentioned on Tuesday, I had a few extra die cut words so I decided to put them to good use on another card.</div>
<div>
<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAXZa_V0C2AQFRz-LBH23OrMVnfUVQBHWKhhw4QhaehCYG2Bn0InkE6iDM3QwSbm0gW5LkS250AMG88V7sXo4etbW_M0-juevVSFhVAQGk5tTjtbPvKRFYvjl00MxCsQpeHUq44GqHJ3k_/s1600/IMG_1239.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAXZa_V0C2AQFRz-LBH23OrMVnfUVQBHWKhhw4QhaehCYG2Bn0InkE6iDM3QwSbm0gW5LkS250AMG88V7sXo4etbW_M0-juevVSFhVAQGk5tTjtbPvKRFYvjl00MxCsQpeHUq44GqHJ3k_/s400/IMG_1239.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I arranged the words in a ombre-ish fashion then I spattered the card using my <b><a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147157/brights-stampin-write-markers" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">Bermuda Bay marker (#147157)</span></a></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used the rest of my dyed twine and other bits and pieces to form the embellishment cluster. The "so happy for you" is from the <b><a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141594/sunshine-sayings-clear-mount-stamp-set" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">Sunshine Sayings stamp set (#141594)</span></a></b> that coordinates with the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141489/sunshine-wishes-thinlits-dies" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Sunshine Wishes Thinlits (#141489)</span></b></a>. I used a leftover piece of one of the <b><a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146936/pearlized-doilies" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">Pearlized Doilies (#146936)</span></a></b>. Did you know you can cut them apart to get different shapes? On the back I sponged some <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147142/grapefruit-grove-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Grapefruit Grove ink (#147142)</span></b></a>. It's subtle but in real life you can just see that grapefruit-colored glow peeking out from underneath. It's a cool effect. I also added a <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141491/classic-label-punch" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">classic label punch (#141491)</span></b></a> accent along with a small scalloped circle from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141705/layering-circle-framelits-dies" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Layering Circles Framelits (#141705)</span></b></a>. I also die cut a <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/101856/vellum-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Vellum Card Stock (#101856)</span></b></a> circle with the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/145372/stitched-shapes-framelits-dies" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372)</span></b></a>.</div>

<br />
We got quite the winter storm yesterday! It was also Martin Luther King Day which meant no school, which also meant, no driving in the snow. Thank goodness!<br />
<br />
Superman and I did venture out to his dad's house to shovel for him and to the hardware store to get some paint for a DIY project we're working on. So glad he was driving!<br />
<br />
Making cards on a stormy day is one of my favorite things. I even made a video which you'll find below. (Disclaimer: I'm a VERY amateur videographer. I will get better with time, but in the meantime please excuse the poor lighting and the fact that my project wasn't directly in the camera's view ha ha ha).<br />
<br />
It's easy to get caught up with all the new stuff that is constantly coming out but this time I decided to pull out "older" products from the Annual Catalog. I used the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141489/sunshine-wishes-thinlits-dies" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Sunshine Wishes</span></b></a> thinlits dies (#141489) to create a repeating sentiment card.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIQnf8-qn37W6AI1k3DuGUt-POabMwAl4WvrvZhTv_gAQcqx3-5HG1Zuyh_ei6ZlFGiQ1E9F89e3nrd1q48lOsicsoZQWl07ej88Wxf7MqhuBC4qaxb-vHdv5OwMikoJjQifJxR2wLEIQT/s1600/IMG_5131.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIQnf8-qn37W6AI1k3DuGUt-POabMwAl4WvrvZhTv_gAQcqx3-5HG1Zuyh_ei6ZlFGiQ1E9F89e3nrd1q48lOsicsoZQWl07ej88Wxf7MqhuBC4qaxb-vHdv5OwMikoJjQifJxR2wLEIQT/s400/IMG_5131.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The color combo I used was kind of similar to my last card. Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Soft Seafoam, Petal Pink, Grapefruit Grove. I am LOVING these colors together! On my Night of Navy congrats, I first painted on a coat of <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141897/clear-wink-of-stella-glitter-brush" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Wink of Stella</span></b></a> (#141897) then topped that with a layer of <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/138309/fine-tip-glue-pen" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Fine Tip Glue</span></b></a> (#139389). I colored my <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/124262/whisper-white-solid-baker-s-twine" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Whisper White Baker's Twine</span></b></a> (#124262) using my <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/147142/grapefruit-grove-classic-stampin-pad" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Grapefruit Grove ink</span></b></a> (#147142) and a <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/133773/sponge-daubers" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Sponge Dauber</span></b></a> (#133773). I kept it imperfect so it would look a little tie dyed. This is a really great technique to customize any of your white twines or ribbons.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148530/lace-dynamic-textured-impressions-embossing-folder" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder</span></b> </a>(#148530) to add some fun texture to the card base. This is a new product but I thought it paired so well with the die cut words. I wasn't a fan of that TIEF at first but now I can't stop using it!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here's a close-up that shows the sparkle, shine and sequin-y goodness! You can also see the twine has a little bit of an ombre feel. So pretty!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here's the card in action:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I hope you stayed warm today...or cool if you live south of the equator. I had a few die cut words left over from this card so stop by on Friday to see what I did with them!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Hello!<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: start;">I'm back again with a new card to share. I was given a few sheets of DSP from the 2019 Occasions catalog for an assignment awhile back. I loved the Night of Navy spots paper and wanted to use it on a card. First though I had to come up with a fun color combo. I decided on this:</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
<br /></div>
<span style="text-align: start;"><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEju9z10Yji8adodHA-6JTVpdUgkbaunDP5qNV6rGDTY9vaTzlC4CXPTqllqcMAHNGT5aLrKnWg4y1pRsGxDk6sMVkpkzFXSwqoZcv1O0gd1HfUfupA_QmG3Af68SMo4xQgQR3tILn0MijML/s1600/color+combo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="602" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEju9z10Yji8adodHA-6JTVpdUgkbaunDP5qNV6rGDTY9vaTzlC4CXPTqllqcMAHNGT5aLrKnWg4y1pRsGxDk6sMVkpkzFXSwqoZcv1O0gd1HfUfupA_QmG3Af68SMo4xQgQR3tILn0MijML/s400/color+combo.jpg" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">photo courtesy of Stampin' Up!</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
These colors are from top left - Pool Party, Lemon Lime, Twist, Night of Navy, Grapefruit Grove.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Aren't they just yummy?? Here's the card I made:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixCO6IpFgomwI67i6n8kXAdbWUW0UqVD7nkOWHDF-At6W9Ktm-BqysEf98OaFcIU8ABZzqsCyFtK7FYwy57ps4VgD7G8LHUuOH7ySwZT-Wm2qTp-jJfuuEWZZ4_vybRo-nVCi8j581FCQb/s1600/IMG_1719.jpeg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixCO6IpFgomwI67i6n8kXAdbWUW0UqVD7nkOWHDF-At6W9Ktm-BqysEf98OaFcIU8ABZzqsCyFtK7FYwy57ps4VgD7G8LHUuOH7ySwZT-Wm2qTp-jJfuuEWZZ4_vybRo-nVCi8j581FCQb/s400/IMG_1719.jpeg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I just love how it turned out! I decided to make a bit of a "window" card. Kind of having the Pool Party label floating, if you will. Here's the inside:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieTYqBivPGP0wSS3WrNqlPJQ0ojPleAvUcYxAio1-pswCAsagKkxe-YGOz5YKuxziFKnE02dzPgNCw-TOiSHiPVWWPPe4cGcJx2-imNZH4DhYSo0DGzJqFVA5KsktvBng-OauXfRz4zArO/s1600/IMG_1721.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieTYqBivPGP0wSS3WrNqlPJQ0ojPleAvUcYxAio1-pswCAsagKkxe-YGOz5YKuxziFKnE02dzPgNCw-TOiSHiPVWWPPe4cGcJx2-imNZH4DhYSo0DGzJqFVA5KsktvBng-OauXfRz4zArO/s400/IMG_1721.jpeg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I know it's nothing super spectacular ha ha. But It turned out pretty cool. Here's a close up:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgc3tFi9tqtIMog2LpN1w0aG0ETkiG-h6C8aTSbQuEUSLmZd7voTQLkjTLsYwBCqrVYg-BTWBvOtwX5peGXZ1fQI3cFcW-ZIa4y7uQAQ68_AYX5QIrRotbtCU4trVw7MXakUD_g_QDQAGhv/s1600/IMG_1720.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgc3tFi9tqtIMog2LpN1w0aG0ETkiG-h6C8aTSbQuEUSLmZd7voTQLkjTLsYwBCqrVYg-BTWBvOtwX5peGXZ1fQI3cFcW-ZIa4y7uQAQ68_AYX5QIrRotbtCU4trVw7MXakUD_g_QDQAGhv/s400/IMG_1720.jpeg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used dies from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/143659/bouquet-bunch-framelits-dies" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Bouquet Bunch Framelits set (#143659)</b></span></a>; dies from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141489/sunshine-wishes-thinlits-dies" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Sunshine Wishes Thinlits set (#141489)</b></span></a> plus a stamp from the coordinating stamp set <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141594/sunshine-sayings-clear-mount-stamp-set" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Sunshine Sayings (#141594)</b></span></a>; the label die is from the <b><a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146828/stitched-labels-framelits-dies" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">Stitched Labels Framelits set (#146828)</span></a></b>. I also used a stamp from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141710/banners-for-you-photopolymer-stamp-set" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Banners for You stamp set (#141710)</b></span></a> and the coordinating die from the <span style="color: #666666;"><b><a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/141488/bunch-of-banners-framelits-dies" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">Bunch of Banners Framelits set (#141488)</span></a>.</b></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also used silver <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/146282/metallic-pearls" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Metallic Pearls (#146282)</b></span></a> and <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/145569/silver-baker%E2%80%99s-twine" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Silver & Whisper White Baker's Twine (#145569)</b></span></a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The cool dotted DSP is from the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/148795/happiness-blooms-12-x-12-30-5-x-30-5-cm-designer-series-paper" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Happiness Blooms DSP pack (#148795)</b></span></a>. I also used a piece of <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/142314/window-sheets" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Window Sheet (#142314)</b></span></a> and <a href="https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/101856/vellum-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;"><b>Vellum Cardstock (#101856)</b></span></a>. I know that is a lot of supplies used on one card. But if you've been collecting even a few supplies over time, you can make this card or one very similar! Just goes to show you can mix and match your scraps for a beautiful look!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I hope this card inspired you to pull together your own bit and pieces to create!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Thank you for visiting. Make today a great and inky day!</div>

It's blue, but it isn't. It's green but it isn't. Kind of like the ocean. Your computer screen doesn't even do this color justice. A few years ago this was an In Color. I was so sad when it went away but then did the biggest happy dance when it was brought back as one of the new core colors! I'll be posting some cards soon that incorporate Coastal Cabana into the color scheme. I promise you won't have to wait for 6 months to see. LOL.</div>

<br />
To me any way. :D Today is my birthday. It's the only reason I ever look forward to January LOL. How old am I, you ask? Let's just say I'm old enough to be a grandma and have no kids living at home but young enough that I still have people telling me I look too young to have 4 grandkids. ;).<br />
<br />
Today is also my Stampin' Up! anniversary. Nine years ago today, I signed up to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I love the creative outlet and opportunities that Stampin' Up! has provided me over the years. Not to mention the wonderful friends I've made that I wouldn't have met if not for Stampin' Up!<br />
<br />
To celebrate my special day, I am offering two gifts! You do have to do something in order to be entered to win but no money is involved on your part. ha ha ha.<br />
<br />
Here's all you have to do:<br />
<br />
Leave a comment on this post telling me what you think my favorite Stampin' Up! ink color is. If you guess the wrong color but it's in the right color group, I'll send a small gift. If you guess the exact color, I'll send you a bigger gift. If we have more than one right guesser, I'll draw names for the winner. I wish I could give everyone a gift. Maybe when I reach $1,000,000 in sales I'll be able to afford that. ;p.<br />
<br />
Contest will close at 11:59 on January 12th. I'll draw the name(s) and I'll publish a post announcing the winner(s) on my blog here on January 14th.<br />
<br />
Good luck and in case you need to see all the SU! colors in one place in order to guess, here they are!<br />
